Amy Swan

Amy Swan received her BFA with high honors in Dance Performance and Choreography from The University of Illinois @Urbana-Champaign. She went on to perform professionally with Malashock Dance and Company based in San Diego, CA and Transitions Dance Company based in London, England. While dancing in London, Amy also earned her MFA in Dance from Trinity Laban. She has taught dance to toddlers, children, teens, pre-professionals and professionals. From 2003-2007, Amy taught modern dance, dance composition and improvisation at Dreyfoos School of the Arts and served as Dean of Dance from 2006-2007. After leaving academia to focus on raising her three children all of whom attend The Pine School, she served on the Board of Directors for Ballet Palm Beach from 2016-2020. In addition to managing her home with husband Rob Swan, Amy has a keen interest in health and wellness through fitness, whole foods nutrition, and homeopathic medicine.

The Pine School is an independent college preparatory school educating students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
