English teacher Brian Hildebrand is leading Upper School students through a 2-year AP Capstone program - allowing students a large degree of autonomy to pursue their individual interests across different content areas.
They started the year recapping TedTalks they reviewed, using metrics that they will be subject to on work submitted to the College Board.
“This first year is all about skill-building, exploration of existing literature, and synthesis of a wide variety of arguments - with the lofty goal of students conducting their own original research in an effort to contribute a piece to the overall research puzzle,” shared Hildebrand.
