Georgia Heard is a poet & educator whose books on teaching poetry to young people have been used by PINE teachers. Triple bonus to have her on campus to surprise PINE LS & MS students,  whose poems were published as part of ‘Awakening The Heart,’ Heard’s latest book. The book will serve as a guide for teachers to mentor future young writers & each published student received a signed copy.
