In addition to a regular hot meal and vegetables daily, Flik also provides a fresh salad bar - sometimes even featuring produce from our campus garden, a sandwich bar, a pasta station, and homemade soups.
Flik has also been great about working with our students and faculty for a range of special request meals - such as an international spread for our Multi-Cultural Festival, unique dishes for French Week, or Senior privilege requests like breakfast for lunch.
Standing side-by-side with Pine in exposing our students to world views, Flik coordinated a recent visit to campus by celebrity chef, TV celebrity, and Korean Food Ambassador Jet Tila - providing time for students to ask questions and even participate in a cooking demonstration. In rounding out this fantastic relationship, Flik has also fully committed to the School's dedication to staying Green by utilizing a composting machine that turns food waste into natural fertilizer for our School garden.
