Spend a little time with our Lower School students, and you'll see something extraordinary happening at The Pine School. We provide a nurturing environment that encourages children to challenge themselves and take risks.
Pine's Lower School program includes strong academic expectations and experiences that work together to build our student's love for learning, confidence, and intellectual abilities. Through collaborative projects, students discover how to work together - listening, debating, iterating, designing, and sharing ideas. Each year brings continued thought-provoking experiences to stimulate and satisfy natural curiosity as we prepare students to excel in an independent college preparatory school.
Try your hand at some carnival games at the 3rd Grade's State Fair, where students work to persuade others why their states are the best. Students create games, persuasive essays, and fun activities to share their knowledge.
Fourth Graders share their podcasts focusing on topics each student is passionate about teaching others.
Touch the red button, and the students come alive in 2nd Grade's Living Wax Museum, where they become the famous person studied and share facts about the person’s life through an interactive learning experience.
Unique to The Pine School, all students K-4 participate in an annual Lower School Musical. This spring production prioritizes full-divisional involvement and features each grade throughout the musical (over 120 students on stage for an entire show!)
