Veterans Day Assembly
The Pine School's annual Veterans Day Assembly and combined Admission Open House was a big success. The program included both band & chorus ensembles as well as a combined performance of the ‘Armed Forces Medley’ featuring Lower School students. Athletic Director Jeff Shirk (who served as the Associate Athletic Director and head boys lacrosse coach at the Naval Academy Preparatory School) delivered the keynote address.

"During my time around the military community I was fortunate to interact and learn from some amazing high-character, positive-mindset people,” shared Shirk. “I am hopeful that the PINE community benefited as much as I did after hearing their inspiring stories about life, adversity, and resolve."
The day also provided a great backdrop for our Admission team to showcase PINE's unique programming and beautiful campus. A record-breaking number of visiting prospective families enjoyed Division-specific tours and reception.
"This tradition allows our students an opportunity to renew their appreciation for those who served our nation in the Armed Forces,” summed up History Dept Chair Nathaniel Osborn.
The Pine School is an independent college preparatory school educating students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
