8th Graders Go All Hobbit

Nikki DeDominicis led her 8th Grade English students through an exciting Hobbit-themed week filled with learning & teamwork. After studying the novel The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, students were challenged during the Battle of the Five Armies - with advisory groups competing in Hobbit trivia, math & science skills, costume representation, puzzles and a thrilling battle of Capture the Flag. Inspired by the Hobbits' love for food, they wrapped the festivities up with Second Breakfast!
