Serving Up Beach Volleyball

The 23-24 school year saw The Pine School hold a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially unveil the School’s new Swan Beach Volleyball Courts. The result of a $250,000 gift from the Swan family, the courts will allow an exciting expansion of PINE’s Athletic offerings, while also impacting the School’s Master Campus Plan in significantly positive ways. Club play will begin this spring, with a declaration as an official FHSAA Varsity team sport coming in the spring of 2025. 

During the spring, PINE’s Beach Volleyball team made great strides during dedicated training sessions. Student-Athletes are honing their skills in the sand in anticipation of becoming an accredited team for the 2025 season - including taking-on local Club play. 

“Our recent club matches have been very successful, and we're eagerly looking forward to the exciting opportunities that next year will bring,” shared Coach Devin Mitchell. 

The courts also provided inspiration for a new PINE tradition - Blue vs Gold Volleyball.
